Nature Coast Physical Therapy & Rehab Nature Coast Physical Therapy was founded by Jaya Gurnani in 1995 and has since then expanded to two convenient locations; Inverness and Beverly Hills!

Physical therapy is to make daily tasks and activities easier. In physical therapy we treat back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, sports injuries, pediatrics, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, lymphedema and vestibular disorders. Physical therapy consists of manual therapy, education and techniques such as heat, ice, water, ultrasound, electrical stimulation and traction.

Summary

The receptionist will provide secretarial support in a clinic environment, including greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate & confidential medical records, filing, and answering incoming calls. The successful candidate will be capable of working well with others in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities

-Welcoming patients by greeting and acknowledge them in a prompt, pleasant and helpful manner
-Respecting and maintaining privacy and dignity of patients by strictly adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
-Assisting patients and their care takers with completion of registration forms.
-Verifying necessary patient information and data on the patient’s medical record: verifying patient demographics with precise attention to detail
-Efficiently and accurately collecting billing information
-Operating a fax machine, printer, and scanner
-Preparing patient charts
-Booking, coordinating and rescheduling patient appointments
-Maintaining the tidiness of our reception/waiting area
-Answering the telephone promptly, taking and relaying messages, and routing information to the appropriate location.
-Responding to medical record requests
-Following up with patients via telephone and/or e-mail
-Perform daily opening and closing office procedures as assigned
-Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
-Be proactive in informing the office manager of any issues
-Performing other related duties within the clinic as assigned

Our rehabilitation outpatient clinic is currently in need of a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient. -1+ years’ clinical experience

-Home health experience an asset
