(MFR) Myofascial Release this Wednesday, May 13th, 5:30pm at Crystal River Yoga in Inverness with Johanna Marsan.
Utilize MFR therapy balls to apply gentle pressure to "trigger points", releasing tension in the connective tissues that bind and support the muscles, restoring healthy movement. Every MFR class focuses on different parts of the body; this Wednesday we focus on the back and neck 🙌🏻.
MFR is part of the Restore Series: slow down, breathe, stretch, release tension, and restore healthy movement.

The Restore Series rotates every Wednesday and includes:
• (MFR) Myofascial Release:
Utilize MFR therapy balls to apply gentle pressure to "trigger points", releasing tension in the connective tissues that bind and support the muscles, restoring healthy movement.
• Stretch and Restore:
Begin with Gentle Active Stretching and end with Restorative and Gentle Yin postures using bolsters, blocks, and blankets to help heal the effects of chronic stress from a fast paced life.
• MyoYin:
Combine MFR therapy balls with the slow stretches of Yin Yoga for a deeply therapeutic practice that targets connective tissue and fascia, helping to release tension, improve mobility, and enhance overall flexibility.
• Stretchy and Strong:
A yoga practice focused on serenity, muscle and bone health. Begin with active stretching to build serenity and close with longer held yoga postures of the warrior to strengthen muscles and improve bone health.
