Dear ones,
Please join us tonight from 5:30-8:00 at our Iola office for a time of connection, food and to breathe while you are living “in the middle”.

Are you IN THE MIDDLE? Are you
a mom in the middle of the juggle of mothering a growing family and managing a busy household while working or homeschooling and navigating an ambitious to-do list all while preventing your toddler from trying to feed your new baby a fruit leather or a Goldfish cracker he somehow unearthed from between the cushions of your couch?

Could you also imagine a room full of snacks (that you did not have to purchase or prep) and a quiet-ish comfortable place to sit and chat with other moms (and midwives) who feel the same way?

We imagined it, too, and so we’re doing it!

Join us at the Iola office on Friday, November 8th from 5:30-8pm for IN THE MIDDLE, the first in a series of a gatherings designed specifically for mothers of young children. Hosted by the midwives of In the Beginning, this event is for creating and fostering community and connection among central Wisconsin moms. There will be free food and free childcare. We hope to create a network of encouragement that lasts long after this gathering ends. Call 715-445-2277 or email itbmidwives@protonmail.com to RSVP. Or, just show up. We would be thrilled to see you. ❤️

🎉🎨 Exciting News! 🎨🎉

I am thrilled to share that I recently had the honor of being interviewed by the Baltimore Banner! 📰 It was an incredible opportunity to discuss my passion for maternal health through art. My journey from experiencing two home births to becoming a doula and artist has been nothing short of transformative. 💫

Through my art, I strive to shed light on the beauty and challenges of the maternal journey. Inspired by my own experiences, I aim to spark conversations and raise awareness about the importance of maternal health. My goal is to create pieces that resonate with individuals, provoke thought, and ultimately contribute to positive change in maternal care.

In my latest projects, I've delved deeper into exploring the intersection of art and birth work. Each piece is a labor of love, reflecting the emotions, struggles, and triumphs of the maternal experience. I pour my heart and soul into every creation, hoping to make a meaningful impact.

I want to express my gratitude to Jasmine and the Baltimore Banner team for the insightful interview. Jasmine's thoughtful questions allowed me to reflect on my journey and reaffirm my commitment to this important work. This journey has been challenging, but it's also been incredibly rewarding, and I'm eager to embark on new adventures as a birth worker and artist.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Your encouragement fuels my passion and inspires me to push boundaries in maternal health advocacy through art. Let's create a world where every mother and birthing person feels empowered, supported, and celebrated. 🌟

please continue to share your journey and passion with us! I'm so excited for you!!
