Encompassing a growth mindset vs. a fixed mindset can heavily impact the quality of our life. To help train your brain towards a growth mindset, try these tips:

⬜ Try to see challenges as opportunities to learn.
⬜ Focus on the process and the effort, rather than the result.
⬜ Try not to take criticism personally.
⬜ Replace the word ‘failing’ with ‘learning.’
⬜ Embrace and reflect on the learning you do daily.

Being human can be hard. We have these things called thoughts and emotions that have a grip on our well-being. Give yourself permission to seek help by taking care of yourself. Value your time and energy. Start small, take your time, and be patient with your journey.

Never underestimate the power of saying thank you. Expressing appreciation to the people in your life enhances their mood and yours as well!

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending!
A healthy reminder as we step into a new week. How do you want to make people feel?

Sending love to anyone who needs it on Mother's Day 💚
When was the last time you honestly answered the question, "how are you?" We all experience our mental health to some degree every day. It is important that we take steps to share our truth by expressing how we really feel. No, this doesn't have to be to everyone, but sharing how you really are with a trusted person goes a long way 💛
You can experience a variety of thoughts and feelings at the same time. You can be happy and grateful and still struggle with your mental health.

Let’s pull out a thesaurus and find different words to use as adjectives. Mental illnesses are not adjectives, they are genuine and legitimate health conditions.

How can you stand up to mental health stigma?

1. Get the facts.

Stigmas about mental illness and addiction are often based on myths. Studies show that many people who experience these problems are productive members of society who can benefit from treatment.

2. Words matter.

Think about the terms you use to describe people who experience mental health problems or addictions. Never reduce people to a diagnosis. Engage in respectful dialogue with others who may use hurtful language.

3. Use your influence.

We’re all connected to one another. Be a voice for fairness and truth with your friends, family members, and the young people in your life.

Mental illness has nothing to do with personal failure. No one knows how they’ll respond to traumatic events or circumstances that bring about depression, anxiety, self-harm, or any other slew of mental health issues. Your mind and body can handle only so much, and everyone responds differently. So let’s dispel that myth — it’s not your fault or a personal failing. Quite the opposite. It takes bravery and courage to admit you need help and to seek guidance.

You never know what someone is dealing with. You only know what you see or what you think you see. Unlike some physical ailments, like a broken arm or a bruise, the mental health of other people is largely unknown to us. We aren't in their head. So please be kind.

Many skills go into a healthy relationship. Whether with a partner, friend, colleague, or family member.

Are there any skills you need to unlearn about relationships?

Make the time you have matter. 💙

We never truly know what battles someone else is fighting. So let's choose kindness, empathy, and understanding always.

You will never change if you don't consciously choose to take a chance on yourself. Bet on yourself.

The scars may still exist, but they don't have to define us. Let's focus on our resilience and strength as we continue to heal.

Feeling overwhelmed and stressed? Take a moment to slow down, relax your muscles, and take a deep breath. It's amazing how a simple act can have such a profound impact on your well-being.

Holding space for yourself is essential for your mental and emotional well-being. Take a moment to prioritize yourself and create a safe and nurturing environment to process your thoughts and feelings. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup, so take care of yourself!

Your mental health is invaluable. And it can be so fragile. Preserving it, developing it, and working on it have to be a priority.
Anything that costs you your mental health is too expensive.

Being gentle with ourselves means permitting ourselves not to be the best that's humanly possible but rather to do the best we can right now. This philosophy reminds us that our version of “best” will look different than anyone else's.

Everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness that make them love and live a little differently than you do. Stop judging, instead try to understand.

Just in case no one told you today...

We all carry emotional baggage...
But there’s a point when particular baggage becomes too much, which can devastate our relationships, including with ourselves. Carrying too much emotional baggage can stop us from being open to new experiences, intimacy, and growth.
What do you need to let go of?

Happy International Women's Day to all the incredible women out there! Today, we celebrate the achievements of women past, present, and future. Let's uplift, support, and empower each other today and every day.

Encouragement is free. It never costs us anything to say a few words to inspire a student, coworker, or friend. Even a reassuring word to a stranger may make a difference in their lives!

Don’t be afraid to start over. Don’t be embarrassed to start over. Don’t be discouraged by the need to start over. Realize how much of an advantage you have over starting from scratch, then leverage that advantage, get excited, and go start over!

We each have a story to tell. Not all stories can be seen. Be kind to everyone, you never know what they're going through.

It's National Employee Appreciation Day, and we want to thank ALL of our amazing employees for their dedicated passion and purpose! There isn't such a thing as too much appreciation!

We are fortunate to have unique individuals that make a difference in the lives of others. We encourage everyone who reads this to let someone on your team know what you appreciate about them in the comments! Don't forget to tag them!

Personal battles with depression, anxiety, and other disorders have traditionally been private. However, individuals sharing their struggles online are bringing much-needed awareness to mental health and letting others know they're not alone.

Today and every day, we honor the tireless dedication and compassion of social workers. Thank you for making a difference in our communities and in the lives of those you serve.

It's always good to be aware of potential red flags in a new relationship, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't also be on the lookout for green flags, aka the early signs that a new relationship is going well.

There are so many reasons to go to therapy. Here are a few 🤍

Taking care of yourself makes you stronger for everyone in your life...including you. How can you take care of yourself today?

"Forgiveness isn't just about letting go of the past, it's about freeing yourself from its grip. Embrace the power of forgiveness and experience the peace and healing it brings.

Remember, forgiving doesn't mean forgetting. Forgiving means accepting that it happened.

Words can create or destroy, inspire or discourage, unite or divide. Use them wisely, for they hold the power to shape our world!

Life is all about balance. Rest is important too.

Why You Should Try To Be A Rainbow In Someone's Cloud:

1. Everyone you know has low moments
2. A small act from you can make a BIG difference to them
3. You can turn a negative into a positive
4. It shows that you genuinely care
5. Kindness improves your mood and theirs
You can become it with simple gestures like a smile, a caring word, providing help with simple deeds, or giving advice (when asked for)

Sometimes we forget that it's okay not to always be okay. We should be allowed to fall apart sometimes to find ourselves all over again.

You are worthy now. Not when you get that job, not when you lose 20 lbs, not when more people know who you are. NOW. Simply because you exist.

You make mistakes; mistakes don't make you.

Part of placing mistakes under your feet involves reflecting and learning how to move forward with this experience so that ultimately you can rise above it!

A mental illness cannot define anyone. It may be a part of you, but you are more than one simple aspect of yourself. You are way more than just a mental illness. You are you, and you matter.

We need to help our children find healthy ways to handle their feelings. Responding with love to their many emotions is the first step!
