Encompassing a growth mindset vs. a fixed mindset can heavily impact the quality of our life. To help train your brain towards a growth mindset, try these tips:

⬜ Try to see challenges as opportunities to learn.
⬜ Focus on the process and the effort, rather than the result.
⬜ Try not to take criticism personally.
⬜ Replace the word ‘failing’ with ‘learning.’
⬜ Embrace and reflect on the learning you do daily.

Being human can be hard. We have these things called thoughts and emotions that have a grip on our well-being. Give yourself permission to seek help by taking care of yourself. Value your time and energy. Start small, take your time, and be patient with your journey.

Never underestimate the power of saying thank you. Expressing appreciation to the people in your life enhances their mood and yours as well!

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending!
A healthy reminder as we step into a new week. How do you want to make people feel?

Sending love to anyone who needs it on Mother's Day 💚
When was the last time you honestly answered the question, "how are you?" We all experience our mental health to some degree every day. It is important that we take steps to share our truth by expressing how we really feel. No, this doesn't have to be to everyone, but sharing how you really are with a trusted person goes a long way 💛
You can experience a variety of thoughts and feelings at the same time. You can be happy and grateful and still struggle with your mental health.

Let’s pull out a thesaurus and find different words to use as adjectives. Mental illnesses are not adjectives, they are genuine and legitimate health conditions.

How can you stand up to mental health stigma?

1. Get the facts.

Stigmas about mental illness and addiction are often based on myths. Studies show that many people who experience these problems are productive members of society who can benefit from treatment.

2. Words matter.

Think about the terms you use to describe people who experience mental health problems or addictions. Never reduce people to a diagnosis. Engage in respectful dialogue with others who may use hurtful language.

3. Use your influence.

We’re all connected to one another. Be a voice for fairness and truth with your friends, family members, and the young people in your life.

Mental illness has nothing to do with personal failure. No one knows how they’ll respond to traumatic events or circumstances that bring about depression, anxiety, self-harm, or any other slew of mental health issues. Your mind and body can handle only so much, and everyone responds differently. So let’s dispel that myth — it’s not your fault or a personal failing. Quite the opposite. It takes bravery and courage to admit you need help and to seek guidance.

You never know what someone is dealing with. You only know what you see or what you think you see. Unlike some physical ailments, like a broken arm or a bruise, the mental health of other people is largely unknown to us. We aren't in their head. So please be kind.

Your mental health is invaluable. And it can be so fragile. Preserving it, developing it, and working on it have to be a priority.
Anything that costs you your mental health is too expensive.

Being gentle with ourselves means permitting ourselves not to be the best that's humanly possible but rather to do the best we can right now. This philosophy reminds us that our version of “best” will look different than anyone else's.

Everyone has untold stories of pain and sadness that make them love and live a little differently than you do. Stop judging, instead try to understand.

We all carry emotional baggage...
But there’s a point when particular baggage becomes too much, which can devastate our relationships, including with ourselves. Carrying too much emotional baggage can stop us from being open to new experiences, intimacy, and growth.
What do you need to let go of?
