Last four month checkup for Ariana. Best thing about the summer visit is her sister can tag along to help with a long day of appointments. All blood results, CT, and ultrasound show a healthy nine year old.

Last week Ari had to get a booster shot for the MMR vaccine due to chemo killing her immunity, and with a known measles cases in the area she has had to be very careful. Thankfully, she will be fully covered again this Friday and can resume summer fun.

Next up her tenth birthday and fourth grade. Her next appointment is six months away. In the home stretch to five years. Hard to believe and yet so very thankful.

Another annual visit to CO in the books. Per Dr. Boster, Ariana's body has accepted the liver beautifully. A reminder that a rejection at some point is inevitable, but for now we celebrate her body accepting this liver for three years with no complications.

The highlight of the trip was a trip to the butterfly Pavillion and a Rockies game all curtesy of the Ronald McDonald House in Denver. They are an amazing charity that loves to spoil the children. We are thankful for their kindness and the amazing experiences.

Ariana had her four month checkup today. This time she had a CT and an ultrasound and EKG.

This girl loves to make every medical personnel she encounters smile and laugh. She is quick witted and still so curious about every aspect of her appointments.

Ariana has decided when she grows up she wants to be a Childlife Specialist with a service dog. πŸ•β€πŸ¦Ί A perfect profession for her.

So thankful for another report of good health, a happy liver, and a chance to make that dream a reality.

An AMAZING woman, , has created an extraordinary experience for 78 cancer children and their families to attend the September 14th Iowa Hawkeye football game.

September is Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness, and we will all get to participate 'The Wave, from the other side,' to the children on the 11th floor.

Our family has never attended a game and we are so excited!

Check out the video she created to be played at the game. πŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

Ariana had her 2 year end of treatment scans, blood work, and ultra sound today.

Dr. D. reports she is healthy and everything looks perfect. Next scans are being pushed out to four months.

Two years down and three to go in the cancer world. The transplant side will be a life time journey and we will take it. She has life and for that we are grateful!

Ariana was able enjoyed softball for the first time this year. As she did with her medical journey, she was a fighter and a determined young lady to play hard. She enjoyed every second.

Ariana had her annual trip to CO for her liver transplant evaluation yesterday.

We are so lucky to not only have an amazing team here in Iowa, but in Colorado as well.

Dr. Boster is such a wonderful doctor. We love ways she talks and laughs with Ariana. She answers all my questions about the future with honesty.

Ariana had an excellent visit. Her liver continues to be healthy and growing well with her body.
