Arrhythmia specialists at our Heart and Vascular Center recently performed their 800th procedure using the Farapulse pulsed field ablation system—a new, advanced treatment option developed at the Carver College of Medicine and now used around the world.

“Pulsed field ablation offers a safe, efficient, and effective treatment option for patients with atrial fibrillation, while significantly cutting down the procedural times,” Paari Dominic, MBBS, MPH, says.

Once dismissed, high-dose vitamin C is now showing real promise in cancer care. 🍊

UI-led clinical trials found that adding IV vitamin C to standard treatment doubled survival rates for pancreatic cancer patients. Patients with glioblastoma also survived five months longer, on average.
