Dear friends of the Death Collective! Four quick notes:

1. This is just a note to let you know that RSFIC will be filming at the Death Café tomorrow(November 25th) to make a very short community video that will be shown before films at Film Scene. If you are present tomorrow, there is a chance that you may appear as a participant, but we have no control over how what is film will be edited. We will announce this at the beginning of the Death Café as well, just to make sure everyone is aware. We will assume that those who stay will implicitly consent to possibly appearing on screen.

2. If you are coming to the Death Café, you are warmly invited to bring food to donate to a local food pantry to help support our neighbors who may need help with groceries. We will have a basket at the entrance for anything you bring to share. Death positivity doesn't just mean an open acceptance that life ends, and all that comes with it. It also means living our lives in ways that support our collective and mutual well-being.

3. We've added more programs and events, especially with regards to grief support, to our website: http://deathcollectiveeasterniowa.com. Do check it out!

4. Please support our work! We are a nonprofit without external funding run entirely by volunteers to offer free community events. All donations, at any level, are welcome. We are just hoping to keep the lights turned on (meaning, our website paid for) to continue our work. Donate here! Many thanks for your consideration!!

Create your own charcuterie in a teacup! Learn to make meat roses and cheese fans for a tasty display. Participants will leave with their creations, including a vintage teacup and saucer. Open to participants ages 14-adult.
