Congratulations to PhD candidate, Taylen Nappi, on the publication of his review article!

This review outlines the current understanding of immunometabolism in the context of plasmodium infection and serves as a backdrop for his thesis work. He hopes this article inspires others to appreciate the complexity in metabolic regulation within immune cell subsets and how disease states experienced in malaria is linked to a dynamic resource struggle between the host and parasite, leading to altered efficacy in immune protection.
