As a family faced unimaginable decisions in the PICU, Chrissy McCullough, BSN, RN, and Cale Muhlhausen, BSN, RN, focused on creating moments of comfort and connection — from honoring parents’ wishes to caring for the smallest details that made the hospital room feel less clinical. Those moments gave the family space to be together when it mattered most, earning them a DAISY Award. 💛
