Mack volunteered to be on the sidelines during practices throughout the summer. Mack was there to help players with injuries -providing advice and showing them exercises to help keep them healthy and strong for their upcoming season.

Did you know that Mack was a Little Hawk?! Maybe we need some photo evidence 🤔

In addition to her duties as tournament PT, here’s what Rachel had to say about the event: “I got to watch the game that Herbert Hoover invented and played at the White House when he was in office. It was awesome seeing the West Branch community come together and embrace a long held tradition.”

Rachel and Abby ( student) teamed up this summer as clinical instructor and DPT intern. Did you know…every one of our physical therapists has taken on the role of clinical instructor for DPT interns.

Not only is this learning experience vital for the training of future physical therapists, it also promotes growth within our team, as teaching requires us to examine our expertise and knowledge in a unique and expansive way.

Coach Joe, Simon and the 8U Team Iowa Stingrays had a great ball season. We have sponsored and participated in since 2019. We are grateful for the memories made and the fun we have had with amazing coaches, players and families throughout the years.

“Been lifting like a bro since college and have dealt with pec major issues since I started. It started getting worse after I started training bjj [Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu] and I just trained through the pain. Finally decided to focus on getting my body right and got in touch with Matt and Team Iowa PT. He has been fantastic at getting my smaller muscle groups working to prevent injury and get me back training hard. It’s been a fun few months working with him and I can’t wait to start training jiu jitsu and lifting again at almost 100%!” - Chad A.

Over the past two weeks, we had the opportunity to partner with two amazing organizations in our community: and the .

On June 13, we sponsored a team for the United Way’s inaugural Day of Caring. This event connected local businesses with a variety of nonprofit organizations for volunteering opportunities.

On June 20, we served as “Wall Build Partners” to support Habitat for Humanity, both financially and as volunteers.

Both days were spent building out Habitat for Humanity’s warehouse in Iowa City, alongside their amazing construction crew. We learned a lot and had so much fun!
