Most weekdays we host group exercise at 11am. Tuesday we had Resistance Bands, with a large group of residents! What a great way to work up an appetite!

Puzzles are always available for anyone interested. There is a group of residents who take turns putting pieces in our community puzzle in the Dayroom, they would like to invite others to come check out the progress and to add a few pieces if you wish while you are there!

Volunteers from several organizations have been in to sing Christmas Carols with our residents this season. Thank You First United Methodist Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, and our new friends from Goodwill. You have helped to lift our spirits and bring Joy to the season! ❄️🎅🤶🎶🎵🎄

Our Friday Reindeer Minute to Win it Games are always a hit! These ladies and gents get SO COMPETITIVE and the laughs are contagious. Thank you staff, families, and residents for participating in the holiday fun!

Thank you to the Iowa City American Legion Auxilliary for the visit and bag of goodies they delivered to each of our residents. This group visits us a couple times a year and we are so thankful for all they do for us as well as our local Veterans!

This week we had our annual State of Iowa survey. We are so excited to announce that we are deficiency free this year!!! Congratulations to all staff on this amazing achievement. We are so proud of the care and compassion that you show all of our residents each and every day. Way to go!!!!!🎉
