🐾 May is Be Kind to Animals Month! 🐾

Our residents have been hard at work creating handmade toys and cozy blankets for a couple of nearby animal shelters. We have also collected many much-needed items for our local animal shelter to help care for animals waiting for their forever homes. ❤️

We are continuing to collect donations throughout the month of May! Items such as cat food, treats, toys, garbage bags, and wash clothes are greatly appreciated see the flyer below for details.

What a lovely afternoon together at our tea party! 🌸☕️

We spent time creating beautiful pressed flower bookmarks while enjoying iced tea, biscuits with assorted jellies, fresh fruit kabobs, and delicious quiche. It was such a sweet time of conversation, creativity, and community.

Your random act of kindness in handing out beautiful flowers to our residents truly brightened their day and brought so much joy to our community. We are so fortunate to live in a community that thinks of our residents and continues to show such compassion, generosity, and support.

Join us tonight, Monday, May 18th from 6:00–7:00 PM for the Hardin County Caregiver Support Group.

Please note: because of Memorial Day next Monday, this month’s support group is being held tonight instead of our usual schedule.

This is a safe, welcoming space to connect with others who understand, share experiences, and find encouragement and support. Whether you’re a caregiver, family member, or care partner, you are welcome to join us.

What a wonderful week we had celebrating “Moments in Bloom” for National Skilled Nursing Care Week 🌷

We wanted to share just a few more highlights from a week full of fun, appreciation, connection, and celebration. From the luau and glow party to delicious flower cookies and funnel cakes on the patio, and seeing our staff proudly wearing their new Nursing Home Week shirts representing our core values — it truly was a week to remember!

We loved celebrating our residents and team all week long and are so grateful for the residents, families, and staff who make our community bloom brighter every day ✨

Creativity has been in full bloom! 💐🌸🌹

🐦 Our residents designed adorable bird feeders made from squash, each one as unique as the person who created it. We loved seeing all the smiles, colors, and imagination come together! 💚

🪁 Residents also designed and decorated their very own kites! After finishing their creations, some took them outside to watch them soar through the sky.

The activity sparked so many meaningful conversations about flying kites in years past, favorite childhood memories, and even first-time experiences for some who had never flown a kite before. 💙
