The Cardiopulmonary department at Hansen Family Hospital in Iowa Falls now offers the Hydrogen Breath Test, a simple, noninvasive way to diagnose gastrointestinal conditions.
It can identify issues like:
• lactose intolerance
• fructose intolerance
• SIBO (excessive bacteria in the small intestine).
If you have digestive problems such as bloating, gas, abdominal pain, or diarrhea, consult your primary care physician to see if an HBT is suitable and obtain a referral if needed.
