We are proud and happy to announce that on Wednesday February 01, 2023 at 9:00 am, South Carolina will finally become a participating member of the Physical Therapy Compact. The compact’s goal is to increase access to competent Physical Therapists and PT Assistants by making it far easier to practice across state lines.
Judd Warren has been working on this project since 2017 through his work on the Physical Therapy Compact Commission’s National Board of Directors, as South Carolina’s only voting member of the Physical Therapy Compact Commission, and through his work on the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy’s Ethics and Legislative Committee.
South Carolina has been working toward this goal for 7 years.
Mr. Warren is happy and proud his work in the area of PT Regulation has made a positive impact on the physical therapy profession in South Carolina and for South Carolinians’ access to competent PT clinicians.
