Dickinson County Employees are making sure the Veterans in the Community Living Center at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center have a very Merry Christmas with donated gifts to brighten their holiday! The beautiful gift bags were stuffed with puzzles, models, crafts, clothing, slippers, razors, personal care items, and lots of love. Thank you for your donation!

The Dickinson County Staff have outdone themselves yet again this year! Purchasing gifts to donate to our local VA hospital for the CLC residents. We cannot express enough gratitude to the staff for their generous contributions to our local veterans.

This year's Dickinson County Veteran Appreciation Picnic saw another remarkable turnout with approximately 650 attendees. This year, we honor Dennis Lynch as Dickinson County's Veteran of the Year. We would also like to recognize our major sponsors for this year: Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union, Trident Maritime Systems, and LeFant. Numerous local businesses also contributed to this incredible event. Without their sponsorship, it would not have been possible; our community is truly remarkable. A big thank you to all our volunteers, vendors, and Lake Antoine staff for all their hard work.
