My friend and colleague Kat Bettger offers a 90-day immersive exploration of yoga's philosophical dimensions which is a gift to all who embark on this transformative journey. Those who complete this course qualify to join Level Two of Oshkosh Yoga Teacher Training. YTs can complete this course for 30 hrs of CEs

In this general practice, we do focus a bit more on upper body. I'm still not able to do the balance flow like I used to but aren't we all works in progress? I'm so thankful for this beautiful thing called yoga. We use blocks and a strap in this video. Hope you enjoy the practice. Namaste 🙏

Sharing My Journey...

I LOVE yoga! I have always loved yoga. But as a busy mom, wife, sister, and daughter, I slowly but surely fell away from practicing, and hadn’t made self care a priority while raising three boys with my husband, a busy OB/GYN in a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I returned to yoga following many years away, at the suggestion of a friend who is both a massage and physical therapist. I began a dedicated practice, three days a week, incorporating Yin and Yang styles of yoga. The physical changes were surprising to me, and my friend verified the improvements I felt, as my muscles had started to respond more quickly and completely to regular massage. Yoga has increased my flexibility and strength without injury or the kind of soreness that other types of exercise can cause. It has added balance to my very busy life.

Because I wanted to share this practice with others, I became a yoga instructor, and am certified as a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher of Power Vinyasa with the Yoga Alliance. I am actively pursuing an additional 300 Hour Certification in the Functional Elements of Yin Yoga, of Mindfulness & Meditation, of Chinese Medicine, and of Yang Flow Yoga.
