Why travel to Florida to get more training? I have a wish list of protocols that I want to master and client cases on my mind. Ultimately, this is where I can level up—sharper skills, better results, cleaner ex*****on. Its not an intro course and I'm so excited! Class is in session tomorrow 🎉💫🔥🎓

This year I started out with some ambitious goals. I wanted to improve my marketing on social media. I'm just old enough to feel uncomfortable with making Instagram Reels or even taking selfies for that matter! Well, I'm not sure if it's my age or if it's the years I was raising young children, but making that goal was charting new territory, and I did it! And there will be more to come.

I also knew I wanted to take the Trauma, Autonomic Nervous System, and Concussion course through my RAPID NeuroFascial Reset training. My wish list included taking an in-person Master Class as well. Both of these classes ended up being in the beginning of the year. I look forward to flying out to Orlando this next week and learning pure technique and wisdom, refining and adding to what I already know!

At the end of February I started waking up at 5 a.m. to study my TAC course. It's a lot of theory in the beginning. I learned more about our nervous system and cranial nerve testing. The nerve testing can help me identify root causes of deficiencies! Pretty cool, right? Weeks after sitting through these lectures at home I found my self in multiple doctor's offices watching my son get nerve tested. The good news is the doctors haven't found clinically deficient nerves, the bad news is that he's struggling with a migraine condition that we haven't found a clear answer to solving yet. Chiropractic's and RAPID NeuroFascial Reset are both highly effective neurologically based modalities. My son has responded well to both at times, but the results haven't been consistently replicated able.

It's very tough seeing my son suffer. I've had some fantastic sucsess with RAPID, but I'm very new to the complex neurological work, and feeling the insufficiency hitting so close to home has been hard. Not getting relief for chronic conditions is such a challenge. Through the weight of this experience, I've been able to take particular joy in the care I give to my clients. They come in with pain, and dwindling hope, and I am able to offer relief through RAPID, well, it lightens the load and provided balance in the universe 🙂.

Keep tuned for my Master Class in in Orlando! I'm still growing and learning!

As pain persists, its link to tissue damage becomes weaker, which is why addressing the nervous system is key in managing chronic pain 🧠

Touch and Pain Just Got a New Map, And It Explains RAPID Better Than Ever

In case you haven’t seen it already, the 2026 Brain Prize was awarded to David Ginty and Patrik Ernfors for helping uncover the cellular architecture of touch and pain.

What they helped show is that touch and pain are not one big generic system. They’re carried by different kinds of sensory neurons with different jobs, different endings, and different pathways into the spinal cord and brain. In other words, the body is not just feeling “pressure.” It’s processing very specific kinds of input in very specific ways.

What makes this Brain Prize work so exciting is that it helps explain something we’ve believed in RAPID from the beginning—-

not all input is the same.

These researchers helped uncover the cellular architecture of touch and pain, showing that different sensory neurons have different jobs, different endings, and different pathways into the spinal cord and brain.

Clinically, that matters.

Especially with chronic pain.

Because chronic pain is often not just about damaged tissue -it’s about a system that has become more reactive, more protective, and more efficient at producing pain.

That means the quality of the input we give matters.

A broad, generic pressure into tissue is not the same as a precise, high-salience input into a meaningful receptor-rich interface.

The nervous system may respond to those very differently.

That fits RAPID beautifully.

We’ve never believed we were chasing muscles or breaking up scar tissue. We’ve always believed in targeting specific high-yield structures and looking for meaningful change in pain, movement, and function.

This research doesn’t “prove RAPID,” but it does give us better science for understanding why precision matters so much clinically.

The better we understand touch and pain, the better we understand why the right input, in the right place, can change everything.

The relationship between stress and pain is powerful. Stress amplifies pain, and pain causes stress. If your pain is exceeding a 5, on a 1-10 pain scale, book a RAPID NeuroFascial Reset appointment. Is the pain is less, but you just need to unwind? Consider a massage 💆‍♀️ 💆‍♂️

Looks bad-but does it hurt? Nope!
Great study showing that joint space narrowing and pain progression were NOT associated.
