Frederick Milton Neville III, 73, of Logan, Ohio formerly of Coal Grove, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Embassy of Logan. The Logan, Ohio native was born June 2, 1952 a son of the late James Patrick Neville and Marion Yates Neville.

Fred was a 1970 graduate of Dawson Bryant High School in Coal Grove, Ohio where he was a member of the football team and was known for powerlifting. He retired in 2000 as a Process Director for Rubberlite Inc. He was a member of Community Missionary Baptist Church and in his spare time enjoyed welding and gardening. Fred also had a passion for riding his motorcycle and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Valorie (Roger) Brown of Logan., Patrick Neville of Forestdale, and Zoe Neville of Logan, Ohio.
His sister, Marcia (Gerald) Lambert of South Point, OH., and his brother, James P. Neville Jr. of Las Vegas, NV.

Donnie Jean Kitts-Ratliff, 65, of Ironton, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at her son's home in Tipp City, Ohio. She was born June 11, 1960 in Ironton, Ohio to her late parents; Tracy Kitts and Phyllis Vickers Kitts.

She was a 1978 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a previous server at several locations in Florida and Ohio. Donnie lived many years in Florida. She loved the beach and traveling with her dog, Molly. Donnie was always the life of the party and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter; Penelope Ratliff.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons; Jeremiah (Paula) Ratliff of Tipp City, Ohio and Jordan (Keshia) Ratliff of New Carlisle, Ohio, her grandchildren; Austin (Kelsey) Mays of Ironton, Ohio, Jacob (MaKenzee) Ratliff of Tipp City, Ohio, Whitney Hauser of Cheyenne, WY, Preston, Jacob and Maverick Ratliff, her great-grandchildren; Taylynn Mays, Kensleigh Hauser and Carter Hauser, and her brother; Nathan (Holly) Kitts of Jackson, Ohio.

Daniel "Rick" Robinson, 77, of Ironton, OH passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1947, to the late Ray and Opal (Arrington) Robinson and survived by his wife, Annette (Webb) Robinson, after 60 years of marriage.

Rick graduated from Rock Hill High School and received a bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science from Morehead State University and did graduate agricultural studies at the Ohio State University. He retired from the Malleable Iron Corporation in 1983 and also retired from Legends Golf, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2002. Rick enjoyed gardening, working outside, reading, listening to country music but especially loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Connie Clement, Lana Mays, and Kay Bryson and a brother: Larry Robinson.

Along with his wife, Annette, those left to celebrate his life are a daughter: Tina (Mike) Potter of Perrysburg, OH; a granddaughter: Haleigh (Eric) Eischen of Toledo, OH; two great grandchildren: Aiden Eischen and Cooper Eischen, both of Toledo, OH; four blended family grandchildren: Mason Hogan of Columbus, OH, Andrew Potter of Perrysburg, OH, Megan Carstensen of Oregon, OH and Zachary Potter of Perrysburg, OH and four blended family great grandchildren: Lincoln Hogan, Alayna Hogan, Arlo Potter and Astella Potter.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the patriarch of our family, the Rev. James โ€œJimโ€ Cremeans, 85, of Pedro, Ohio, has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior. He passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his wife and children.

Jim was born December 22, 1939, in Rayland, Ohio, the third child born to the late Roy and Waneda (Montgomery) Cremeans. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Mary (McCormick), whom he married on October 4, 1956.

Jim was a graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was a former cashier for Whites Market and Manโ€™s Market until he was called to preach in 1966. He became the Pastor and Director of the Ironton City Mission and the Welfare Mission in March 1967, after Pastor Raymond Lightner went home to be with the Lord. For 38+ years, Jim was a faithful follower and leader of both entities. He became close friends with the Rev. Calvin Evans, who took him under his wing and mentored him. During the many years of Evangelistic worship, they were able to travel to many countries, including Jamaica, Israel, Guyana, and Trinidad and Tobago.

Jim was named Lawrence County Person of the Year in 1979. He was also named co-citizen of the year in 1993, along with his wife, Mary, as well as the Ironton Tribune Person of the Year. He held a Doctor of Divinity degree from the International Bible Institute and Seminary in 1985. He was a board member of the Ironton City Mission, Ironton Ministerial Association, CAO, and Evangelistic Outreach.

In addition to his wife, those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Jim Lee (Teena) Cremeans and Jeff (Lee Ann) Cremeans, two daughters, Diane (Jim) Stamper and Janet (Sean) Lusk, and daughter-in-law Lynn (Gary) Fraley. His 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren with one more due in November, and 3 great-great-grandchildren that will truly miss their Big Papa Preacher Man.

He was preceded in death by his son David โ€œBonzโ€ Cremeans, his siblings Robert โ€œBobโ€ Cremeans, Joan Kerns and Connie Sue Cremeans and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 am at the City Mission Church, 710 North 5th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Cal Ray Evans and Brother Tom Lawson. Burial will follow at Lawrence Furnace Cemetery in Pedro. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and the body will lie in state one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton is honored to assist the Cremeans family during this time. Carl Wayne Witt, 86, of Ironton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. He was born in Ironton, Ohio on November 18, 1938 to his late parents; Reuben Witt and Edna Redd Witt. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Carol Jean Butler Witt.

Carl was a graduate of Ironton High School and a member of Sharon Baptist Church. He retired in 1988 as Fire Chief from a 27 year career at the Ironton City Fire Dept. Carl had a long and distinguished list of achievements and was a proud member of the following; Free and Accepted Masons Lodge #198, Knight Masons, Valley Cincinnati Scottish Rites, Lawrence County Commandary of Knights Templar #45, LaGrange Chapter #68 for the Royal Arch Masons, Lawrence County Scottish Rites, Ohio Council #92 Royal and Select Masters and Kentucky Colonel. He proudly served in the United States Navy.

In addition to his wife, those left to cherish his memory are his son; Timothy (Vanessa) Witt of Lebanon, TN, Lynn Witt of Ironton, OH, his grandchildren; Ashley (Steven) Biars of Ironton, OH, Joseph Witt of Lebanon, TN, Krystal Witt of Lebanon, TN, great-grandchildren; Jayden Witt, Bentley Witt, Declan Witt Biars, Aaron (Allie) and Andrew (Kesha) Sanders, whom he loved like grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:00pm, Friday, August 15, 2025 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. 7th St. Ironton, Ohio with a Masonic service provided by Lodge #198 and Rev. Steve Harvey and Seth Bledsoe will be officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm and from 11:00am on Friday until the time of the funeral service. Burial will follow the funeral service on Friday in Woodland Cemetery with military rites provided by VFW #8850. The Ironton Fire Dept. will serve as pall bearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 2010 S. 5th St. Ironton, OH 45638.
