Pretty weather can only mean one thing at Sanctuary… Thursday drives and milkshakes 😋 We listened to oldies rock and enjoyed some delicious shakes and Ansleigh only embarrassed everyone dancing at every red light 🚦😝

We had a busy evening yesterday with the easter egg hunt, helping the Easter Bunny visit residents, and enjoying cupcakes, but boy was it fun!!!

Thank you to all that came! Our residents really enjoyed seeing all the kiddos, it sure made them hoppy 🐰🤍

March is Social Services Appreciation Month! We like to brag on our staff no matter the day, but we especially like to recognize them during their special days/weeks/or months!

Sandy puts in endless hours to ensure our residents, their families, and her coworkers feel heard and cared about. She makes sure residents are advocated for and feel safe and happy, no matter how much she has on her plate! We appreciate her hard work and bubbly personality at Sanctuary. Help us thank her for all that she does!!! ❤️🗣️

A big day of LUCK for some of us today!! One sweet resident won $20 for coverall and we had a huge turnout. Even those who didn’t win enjoyed having Aubree call bingo today! 🤍 We enjoyed some snacks too but those didn’t last long enough for pictures!! Staff and residents sported some temporary tattoos and beads today!

Detective Dean gave us a change of pace on this cold Monday! He had a line up of a harlot, accountant, nurse, and mobster: all suspects for the murder of Mr. X! Residents helped Detective Dean solve the mystery of who did it and they figured out that the ditzy nurse Sharon did it!!! We all laughed so hard and enjoyed our afternoon so much. We can’t wait for him to come back with another mystery to solve! 🕵🏻‍♂️🫆🔎

It’s Long Term Care Administrator Week, and we couldn’t let it pass without giving a big shoutout to our administrator!

Over the past few years he’s really come out of his fuddy-duddy shell and helped make things a little more fun around here. Whether he’s walking around with a dad joke ready to go, keeping his candy dish stocked for us to “borrow,” or taking a minute to make one of our residents smile, he never misses a chance to brighten someone’s day.

We appreciate the leadership, the laughs, and the way you help make our facility feel like a great place to be for both residents and staff.

And in true administrator fashion, here’s a dad joke we think he’d approve of:

Why did the nursing home administrator bring a ladder to work?
Because he’s always trying to take our facility to the next level! 😄
