Oof—ice happens 🧊😬

Slips and falls on icy sidewalks and parking lots are way more common than we’d like to admit… and yep, even the pros aren’t immune. Dr. Steph found her way to the pavement on Hwy 210 earlier this week 🙋‍♀️💥 (she’s okay—but her pride took a hit).

Tips for walking safely on icy surfaces:
• Slow it way down—short, shuffling steps are your friend
• Walk like a penguin 🐧 (seriously: slight forward lean, feet pointed out)
• Keep hands out of pockets so you can catch yourself
• Wear footwear with good traction or ice cleats when possible
• Assume every shiny spot is ice (because it probably is)

If you do slip or fall and end up sore, stiff, or just feeling “off,” don’t ignore it—your body may need a little help bouncing back.
