I know we've gotten drastically behind in payouts and consignment. Starting a large-scale childcare facility and upgrading a dilapidated old school has been the hardest thing we've ever done. It's not an excuse for not getting people their earned money, and I understand that, but it's the truth of the matter. The school took precedence, because we as a community are in desperate need of childcare.

As we are turning the corner to open at the childcare facility, I have finally updated my consignment expense report and have made a list of all consignment payments I'm behind on. I have the finances to make sure everyone is payed up to date, and will get those payments out this weekend.

With that said, the model of paying out consignors every month will not be feasible and we will be moving to paying out quarterly. We will also be requiring folks to sign up for direct deposit or Venmo to be paid. Checks, stamps, envelopes, and the labor associated with manual payouts is no longer something we can afford to do if we are to keep consignment percentages the same. If people require a check, a service fee will be subtracted from their payouts.

I apologize to those we have let down during this time and I take full responsibility for our shortcomings.

Hey, community! Wanted to check in quickly and let y'all know that we have restocked our natural pain relief powder and capsules (if I use the name, fb will flag me), and we have sales on a lot of our clothing!

We have two dedicated staff on board; Kaylee Black and Crystal Lotzer. Both have been doing their best to hold the fort while Chris and I have been mostly absent setting up childcare in our area! It's important work that will help hundreds of families.

Please know that we are working on correcting issues with our consignors, and will be catching up on consignor pay by the end of the week! We also had an employee steal from us, and will be combing through months of video footage. Charges will be filed.

Our community's trust is the most important thing to us!Sometimes, even when we are trying our best, it may not be good enough for some, and we will continue to learn and continue to try harder, do better, and keep moving forward.

The truth is, since working on starting a large-scale daycare, our sales have dropped drastically, about 70% in the last 6 months. So, for right now, we are asking that our community donate, not consign, until we can get on our feet and ramp sales back up again.

Today as many families are gathering together to be thankful we are also thankful.

Thankful to still be here.

Today we gather in honor of our ancestors that were murdered, tortured, etc we gather and speak our language. We gather and practice our spirituality. We gather and are thankful for all those that gave their lives so that we can still be here.
