A while ago, one of my favorite authors () said, “When things get tough, make a hat”. Things definitely have been tough. But you know what? Now, a thing exists in the world that didn’t exist before I decided to create it. It went from string to a garment that will keep someone I love’s head warm. My intention and focused energy created something new in the world. Isn’t that wonderful? I encourage you, especially when things are tough, to find a way to create. That might be cooking or gardening, writing a song or a story or a poem, crafting a playlist or choreographing a dance. It doesn’t have to be the best or the fanciest or flawless. But make something new that didn’t exist in the world before you made it — a true form of magic.
