Together, we saved lives! 💙 We recently joined communities across the region in recognizing “Save A Life Day”, a day dedicated to raising awareness, building hope and expanding access to life-saving resources for those impacted by substance use.
A huge thank you to everyone who hosted and participated in events across Estill County, including Kentucky Department for Public Health, WV Drug Intervention Institute, Inc., Estill County Health Department Irvine, Helping Hands Outreach, EstillPowell Kyasap, White House Clinics, Estill County Public Library, Sexual Violence Resource Center of the Bluegrass, Train City Collectibles, New Vista KY, Estill Medical Clinic and Crooked Creek Christian Church.
At Mercy Health – Marcum & Wallace Hospital, our team connected with 62 participants, distributing 50 doses of Narcan and 15 fentanyl test strips, empowering community members with tools that can truly make a difference in an emergency.
Across Estill County, a total of 267 Narcan kits were distributed, each one representing a chance to save a life.
