It was exciting to connect with faculty about ongoing spine clinical trials and brainstorm ideas for future studies. We also loved meeting with innovative spine device companies to explore new technologies and discuss opportunities for collaboration. We are looking forward to what’s next!

UCI Health Cardiologist, Ailin Barseghian, MD, is leading a study to evaluate the effects of a study drug in participants with or at a high risk of developing heart disease now or in the future.

This trial is seeking people who are from historically underrepresented populations in cardiovascular clinical research, including:
- Female s*x
- Hispanic/Latino ethnicity
- Black/African-American, Asian, or Native American race
- Rural dwelling
