Patient (retired Rugby player) presented with chief complaint of calf muscle atrophy and restricted ankle range of motion. X-ray images illustrated an extra bony growth (exostosis) in front of the ankle joint acting as speed bumps. This type of deformity is mainly due to repetitive forceful pounding on the ankle joints. The surgical debridement of the bone growths performed percutaneously using PROstep by Stryker.
