Announcing the opening of Esthetics by Design (EBD), a premiere dental lab developed by dentists, for dentists. It is the philosophy of EBD that through thorough communication, attention to detail, and the artistic skill of well-trained dental technicians, high quality restorations can be produced to improve patient outcomes. The organization’s mission is to fabricate restorations with superior fit, natural form, proper function, and exceptional esthetics through a collaborative exchange of information and ideas with our clients.

Dr. Robert Winter, a prosthodontist and a master dental technician. His goal has always been to pursue the highest quality in dentistry and dental lab work, and to meet and exceed the expectations of his patients. It is because of these personal aspirations that he has chosen to go back to his roots; providing lab services by dentists…for dentists. Dr. Winter has always maintained a production laboratory in association with his prosthodontic dental practice, and EBD as a corporate entity was originally established in Newport Beach, California in 2001. Dr Robert Winter & Dr Gregg Kinzer have collaborated both in practice and teaching at Spear Education for over 20 years, and since they share the same philosophy and goals when it comes to the interdependence of dentists and dental technicians, it seemed a natural evolution to partner in this professional venture.

The organization’s strategic goals and objectives:

• Establish collaborative and supportive relationships with all our clients.

• Provide dentists with the information they need to make the best restorative choices for their patients.

• Recognize and celebrate the unique skills and talents of all members of the EBD team.

• Improve and grow in our products through continuous education and training.

• Establish and exceed quality benchmarks in all we produce.

• Meet or exceed the expectations of our clients and their patients.

The management team includes: Dr. Bobbi Winter, President; Dr. Robert Winter, VP Clinical and Technical Services; Dr. Gregg Kinzer, VP Clinical Services; Dr. Jill Kinzer, VP Communications; Fernando Guillen, Director of Operations; Nick Boelter, Director of Client Experience and Takahito Manabe, Director of Technical Operations.
