REM sleep is the stage where most dreaming happens. During this time, your brain actively processes memories, regulates emotions, and supports mood balance. Non-REM sleep (light + deep sleep) is equally essential for physical restoration—together, they form the full cycle your mind and body need.

Blue light from phones, tablets, and Kindles activates your brain.
Even if you’re just reading, your body thinks it’s still daytime.
The research says: cut off screens at least 1 hour before bed.
Better yet, aim for 2 hours—even if that’s tough. 🛌
