Mariners MomCo Fridays Mariners MomCo Friday is a place that is welcoming to all moms from pregnancy through school age. We believe that better moms make a better world.

MomCo exists to encourage, equip, and develop every mother of young children to realize her potential as a woman, a mother, and a leader in the name of Jesus Christ. MomCo offers friendship, honest conversation, opportunities for growth and development, and relevant teaching. We meet weekly to enjoy brunch and community, listen to dynamic and relevant speakers, and build friendships that make the journey as a mom easier and a lot more fun. You will leave feeling refreshed and inspired to be the best mom, wife, friend, and leader you can be.

This week’s speaker is Jeana Baltierra.

Jeana is a passionate leader, dedicated mother, and first-generation follower of Jesus. A proud Orange County native, she brings energy and purpose to everything she does—whether in ministry, motherhood, or her professional life. With a strong foundation in the life insurance industry and a Business degree from the University of Phoenix, Jeana now serves as Donor Relations Manager at the Orange County Rescue Mission, where she combines her faith and professional skills to build partnerships that transform lives. Jeana’s heart for service extends to her role as a volunteer at Mariners Church and as a mentor to her daughter, Olivia, who shares her love for Christ and community.

This year’s theme: Make it Awkward.

This week we’ll dig into that as we have a week of connection with our tables and others in the room. We’ll enjoy breakfast and drink a cup of coffee (or two), we’ll work on our serve project for , create (or maybe even re-create) awkward moments, we’ll sit, breathe, laugh, maybe cry, build relationships and so much more. What a great second week we had today!

did a phenomenal job speaking on the tenets of our MomCo theme this year: Make it Awkward. I know we were all encouraged to have audacious faith, enjoy the joy, own our story and speak kindness.

Our focus for this Connection day will be what do you want to see or need in a friend? Many of us came to MomCo to find more mom friends, but what type of friendship are we really looking for and are we actively pursuing it? We’ll have lots of time to chat on this on Friday!!
