Our Story
The CPR Lady, Inc. began operating as an American Heart Association Training Center in March 1994. We offer a unique business model teaching both Providers and AHA Instructors at multiple training locations throughout southern California including Orange, LA, San Diego, and Riverside Counties, as well as, San Luis Obispo and Sacramento. Over 700+ Instructors include nurses, paramedics and physicians possessing professional experience and backgrounds in Emergency Care, Critical Care, Prehospital Care, and Nursing Education. Our Instructors have developed expertise in course content through extensive clinical experience and frequent teaching of the AHA curriculum. Services include promoting AHA Instructors as they develop and grow their independent businesses, instructing and marketing CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS and First Aid in the community. Our Founder - Helen McCracken is the founder and owner of The CPR Lady, Inc. and has been involved with the American Heart Association for nearly 20 years at all levels - local, state, and national. Helen has been an AHA volunteer, Instructor, Training Center Coordinator, Regional Faculty and BLS National Faculty. Currently Helen is a member of the AHA National First Aid Committee and was involved in writing the 2010 Guidelines for First Aid. Her specialty is teaching to small groups and consistently receives outstanding evaluations.
