The Access to Careers in Engineering and Sciences (ACES) program at UC Irvine’s Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic is transforming the landscape of STEM by providing underrepresented students from historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) with unparalleled opportunities in research and graduate school preparation.

This eight-week summer program empowers high-achieving undergraduates with:
