In collaboration with Architects Mosher Drew, our team successfully upgraded the 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 #𝟒𝟎𝟔𝐇 to meet City of San Diego Fire Department requirements.

✨ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:
• Upgraded walls and ceiling to a 𝟐-𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠
• Installed a new 𝟗𝟎-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫

𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

NelsonHPS is 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 the successful completion of the replacement of three existing sections of 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦-𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 (𝟏𝟐𝐊𝐕) 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐠𝐞𝐚𝐫 at the East Campus Switch Station in La Jolla.

This critical infrastructure upgrade was completed through 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, allowing the remaining sections of the switchgear to stay fully operational throughout the project.

𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑆𝑐𝑜𝑝𝑒 𝐼𝑛𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑑𝑒𝑑:
🔸 Selective demolition
🔸 Replacement of metal louvers + installation of a new exterior roof ladder
🔸 New roofing system, flashings & improved roof drainage
🔸 Fresh interior & exterior paint + new resilient flooring
🔸 A newly built bathroom
🔸 Remedial waterproofing at utility vault conduit penetrations
