The Hinterlands exists because care has to be inside the conditions shaping people’s lives. The practice grew from years of clinical work grounded in community context and direct engagement with what clients carry into the room.

selected The Hinterlands as a Community Development Grant recipient. That decision expands capacity for care already active in Irving Park and supports continued growth of a practice rooted in place.

This investment increases to mental health care that remains responsive to lived conditions.

We continue this work with greater capacity and shared for the people who find their way here.
