We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Zachary Sherman to the Star Sleep & Wellness team and the greater DFW area!
Dr. Sherman is a doctor with a deep passion for helping people rediscover the power of restful nights and energized days. Dr. Sherman has over 5 years of medical experience, and is approaching 2 years of sleep medicine experience, having recently completed his sleep medicine training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to care—working closely with physicians, dentists, and providers across disciplines to improve lives through better sleep.
Originally from Memphis, TN, Dr. Sherman completed his medical training at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, and a sleep medicine fellowship at UT Health Science Center.
When he’s not helping patients sleep better, you might find him hiking mountain trails, camping, traveling to new places, or even playing drums. Fun fact: he once met George H. W. Bush and Barbara Bush on a Disney cruise at age 9!
Dr. Sherman shares his life with his wonderful fiancée, Emily, here in DFW. He is proud to be affiliated with the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Please join us in giving Dr. Sherman a warm welcome as he begins seeing patients in our DFW office. We’re excited for the expertise, warmth, and curiosity he brings to our practice and our community.
