Saturday was filled with joy as our Bowling Tournament brought residents together for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition. From impressive scores to contagious laughter, it was a wonderful reminder that every moment counts.
Special thanks to our YMSL volunteers who helped with the tournament.

Our residents celebrated Mardi Gras in style with music, dancing, singing, a colorful parade, king cake, and lots (and lots!) of cookies. Laughter, rhythm, and sweet treats made it a perfect day!

The Zulu coconut is symbolic of the economic discrimination African Americans' have faced throughout history and the obstacles they have overcome to participate in Mardi Gras. Every year members of Zulu hand decorate these coconuts with paint and glitter.
Today, the residents at Las Brisas decorated the coconuts to celebrate the zulu traditions.
