A nationally recognized speaker in advanced cataract and refractive surgery, Dr. Miller earned her Doctor of Optometry from InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico — Best Thesis in her class — and her B.S. in Biology with honors from Purdue. Having had LASIK herself, she knows firsthand the difference it makes. When she's not in the clinic, she's cheering on her three sons and staying active in the McKinney community. 🤩 Did you know that dragonflies see the world through nearly 360 degrees with their massive compound eyes?! They have 30,000 tiny lenses in each eye — making them one of the most powerful hunters on the planet with a whopping 95% hunting success rate! 🎯

Meanwhile, I still manage to trip over my own dog… 😂🐕

And don’t even get us started on the mantis shrimp — this little guy can see 16 types of color receptors compared to our measly 3. They’re basically seeing a whole universe we can’t even imagine! 🌈🦐
