Our mission has always been—and today remains—to provide the most advanced, appropriate care for individuals and families facing kidney disease, help them do it with hope and dignity, and treat them with the respect and compassion they deserve. Focused on quality. Devoted to your best health. One of the largest teams of kidney specialists in the United States, we’re focused on providing patients and referring physicians alike with expert care and evaluation of kidney disorders. Our priority and our commitments are one and the same: to deliver personalized, state-of-the-art care in a setting that’s comfortable and convenient. To be successful in this endeavor, we see it as our job to:

-Learn as much as we can about your unique, individual kidney problem
-Explain your condition, its risks, your options and your treatment to you in terms you can understand
-Treat you to correct the problem or help you maintain your kidney function for as long as possible

A long tradition of excellence and leadership in nephrology. With half a century of dedication and continuous advancement, our team of accomplished physicians includes board-certified and fellowship-trained doctors specializing in nephrology, internal medicine, interventional nephrology, interventional radiology, hypertension and transplant nephrology. What’s more, these highly credentialed and experienced specialists are supported by a team of capable, caring nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, laboratory and X-ray technologists, dietitians, social workers and administrative personnel. Several of our physicians serve as directors of nephrology and transplant departments at major Dallas and Fort Worth hospitals, including Baylor University Medical Center, Methodist Medical Center, Medical City Hospitals, Baylor All Saints Hospital, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospitals, and most Dallas-Fort Worth area hospitals. In addition, we make continuing education a priority and investigate and incorporate the latest procedures and techniques in kidney care.

You might not think twice about it — but your urine can reveal the first signs of kidney disease 👀🩺

Here’s what to watch for:

💛 Pale Yellow = Healthy
✅ You're well hydrated
✅ Kidneys are doing their job!

🟡 Dark Yellow or Amber
⚠️ Possible dehydration
💧 Your kidneys are working overtime — drink more water!

🟠 Orange or Brown
🚨 Could signal kidney or liver issues
🩺 Time to check in with your doctor.

🌫️ Foamy or Bubbly
⚠️ May mean excess protein in urine – an early sign of kidney damage
Especially common in people with diabetes or high blood pressure.

🔴 Pink, Red, or Cola-Colored
🚨 Blood in urine = a RED FLAG
🧬 Can be caused by infection, kidney stones, or something more serious.

If your p*e looks off for more than a day or two, don’t ignore it.
🧪 A simple urine test could catch kidney problems early, when they’re most treatable.
