Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she was a devout member of Oak View Baptist Church. Carol found great comfort and joy in her church family, often participating in services online when unable to attend in person.
Carol's passions reflected her warm and loving nature. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, delighting in their presence and playful moments. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, she could often be found cheering them on with enthusiasm. Her days were brightened by the company of Petunia, her tiny Chihuahua and companion. Lifelong best friends Bruce and Suzanne Philpot also hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew Carol.
Carol was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Tommy Browning. Throughout her final year, she was lovingly cared for by her daughter, Michelle ,who tirelessly supported her through doctor visits, emergency care, and daily life at Avante and the Grapevine Medical Lodge. This dedication is a testament to the deep bonds of family that sustained Carol to the end.
