Sometimes we have those moments where we are not showing up as our best self.

Sometimes situations get the best of us.

Sometimes you just don’t know what to do.

In such times, you can ALWAYS lean on your breath.
It will open up a way for you.

Try this Straw Breath Technique when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, stressed or a wave of grief.

Peace, Loce & Harmony 🙏🏽💛

We live in a hustle culture that constantly tells us to push, produce, and keep going.

But the body and nervous system don’t heal through pressure.

You heal through safety.

When we slow down…
When we breathe more deeply…
When we move the body gently and intentionally…

we give the nervous system a signal that it can soften. 💛

Practices like this one aren’t about performance.
They’re about regulation.
They’re about creating space in the body for the breath to deepen and the mind to settle.

If your body has been carrying stress, grief, or exhaustion, consider this your invitation to slow down for a moment.

Your nervous system is asking for it.

The full practice is available on YouTube if you’d like to move through it with me.

Grief is not a problem to be solved.
It needs to be witnessed.

We started a compost bin in preparation for our first food garden in South Carolina. It’s a family affair! I’m excited for what we will learn and what we will grow. I’m excited for the transformation of food scraps to rich soil!

Feel free to drop any tips below to help me out. My mother’s the one with the green thumbs!! Your sis can use all the help! ☺️ Comment below ⬇️

The other day I read that being in nature is a way to Be with Spirit.

Yes I know this to be true. We are taking it a step further now by digging our hands in the Earth and growing our own food.

Tending to a garden is very much like self care. When we neglect ourselves, our own spirit & mental health suffers like the garden that is left unattended, without conscious care and tender nurturing. I look at this opportunity to take care of myself and heal holistically.

Settle Into Yourself Beloved
Even when you feel your life is in pieces and your heart skips beats, know that you are whole 💚.
It’s ok if you don’t feel it.
You will.
You are worthy.

I’ve learned that healing doesn’t always start with big breakthroughs. Sometimes it begins with turning inward. It begins with gentle hands. With quiet care. With choosing to tend to yourself in small, loving ways.

This isn’t skincare.
It’s nervous system care.
It’s remembering that your body deserves tenderness too.

If you’d like me to share the “Big Six” lymphatic reset I practice daily, comment below and I’ll show you.

Grief asks the body to slow down.

Through breathwork and gentle movement, we create space for the nervous system to settle.
Not to erase the pain — but to help the body feel safe enough to soften.

Small, steady practices can shift the body out of survival and toward regulation.
