RWC's July 2025 Employee of the Month is Michelle Hinson. One of her residents describes her as “meticulous, timely, and always showing a unique attention to detail.” The resident further explains that “she is friendly, kind, caring, always upbeat, and a pleasure to be around. When Michelle completes the deeper cleanings at our house, she always makes the house look perfect – straightening and fluffing pillows, arranging dog blankets inside the crate, straightening rugs, etc.

When we arrived back at RWC after 3 months in Texas, she stopped by the following morning to see if everything was ok. When my wife was sick in bed, she brought ginger ale to settle her stomach as we had none in the house. Michelle is amazing and deserves to be recognized.” Michelle’s manager wholeheartedly agrees that Michelle is an outstanding employee and lives our core values each and every day.

There’s always something going on at RWC!
So far this week, our Book Group welcomed author Edith Hemingway for an engaging discussion of her novel That Smudge of Smoke, set in the Chesapeake Bay area in 1929—a favorite among our readers. We also had the pleasure of hearing from Tom Robinson, International Liaison for the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Emergencies, who shared an eye-opening perspective on Russia’s role in American history, reminding us there are always two sides to every story. And of course, no week is complete without some fun and friendly competition on the seated volleyball court.
