In the medical classic, Ling Shu, Chapter 1 describes the nature of acupuncture points and their response to needling. QiBo states that one should continue needling until qi is reached; otherwise, the treatment will be ineffective. Through the Neuro-Meridian Acupuncture Program, we will explore and unravel the mysteries of elliciting the de qi response.
Dr. Poney Chiang took a deep dive into the ancient classics to examine the characteristics of acupuncture points. He delved into the Huang Di Nei Jing (Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic), the Jia Yi Jing (Systematic Classic), the Suo Wen Jie Zi (Explaining Writings and Deconstructing Graphs, an authoritative dictionary on the etymology of Chinese characters) and the MaWangDui medical manuscripts. Then he compared standardized Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) acupuncture point locations described in the text of Chinese Acupunpuncture & Moxibustion (C&M), and verified neuroanatomical targets using dissection-based studies and electrical stimulation of acupuncture points.
Whether your approach to acupuncture is from a classical traditional perspective or a biomedical functional approach to needling, Dr. Poney Chiang bridges this divide between classical and biomedical acupuncture to create a synergistic and highly effectively approach to gaining successful clinical outcomes.
In this 3-part Neuro-Meridian Acupuncture Program, you will learn new approaches to treating common and complex conditions for the entire nervous system. Gain confidence in acupuncture's efficacy when applied with clinical precision to gain consistent, reproducible, and effective treatment results.
