October is a great month to schedule a yearly mammogram.
Here are a few statistics about this terrible disease:
*1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
*There are 4 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. right now.
*An estimated 42,250 U.S. women will die from breast cancer in 2024.
*Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancer.
*The average age of U. S. women diagnosed with breast cancer is 62 years old.

Today is Courtney's birthday. Help us wish her a happy one! 🎊🎉🎈

Courtney has been part of the Bayou Pharmacy family since she was 17. She began as a cashier at the age of 17 and has recently graduated from pharmacy school. We are so proud of her!

"The best part of working at Bayou Pharmacy has been the relationships I've built over the years. Many of our customers have known me since I was a teenager and have watched me grow from a cashier into a pharmacist", Courtney says.

When she's not busy working Courtney enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her family, her fiance Daniel, and their two dogs, Tito and Xo.
