On March 21, 2016, Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss issued a proclamation that identified the Irvington Health Coalition (IHC) as a local health resource within the Township. He also encouraged families, friends, neighbors, workers and leaders to adopt healthy practices as everyone works together to improve the quality of life and health within the Township.

On December 12, 2014, Irvington Mayor Tony Vauss announced the formation of the Irvington Health Coalition (IHC). The coalition consists of about 21 organizations that came together to discuss how they and the Township can work collaboratively to improve the health of the residents of Irvington. Many of the IHC members have worked together with the Township’s Health Department over the last several years but this was the first time they became a formalized group. ”
