Forest Friends today started off with a forest themed scavenger hunt around the library. Then we reviewed all the things we had learned from the previous Forest Friends. Very impressed with what the kids remembered! Our craft was making nature journals to take on walks/hikes this spring.
Our next Forest Friends will be March 19th at 10am.

Our Blind Date with a Book event made for a great evening with a fantastic turnout. Guests enjoyed a cozy “meal and a movie”style evening as they ate homemade soup and bread, prepared by our Library Board, with brownies for dessert, all while listening to our true crime author, Tobin T. Buhk. His program was fascinating and eye-opening, as we learned more about women in prison and the crimes some women attempted to get away with.

Throughout the night, blind date books were opened and everyone took home a goodie bag.

Thank you to everyone who attended, to our Library Board for the delicious meal, and to our presenter for such an incredible program.
