The beauty of acupuncture (+ Chinese medicine at large) is it is NOT a one-size-fits-all.

What works for me does not necessarily mean it will work for you, even if we present with the same symptoms.

Continual inquiry each appointment is a necessity for the ever-changing human body.
Addressing the immediate discomforts with weaving in root-cause acupuncture points helps patient's receive relief in the immediate AND benefits for their body in the long haul.

And that's the thing. With persistence, time, and patience, your body KNOWS what it needs- It is not a stupid design. Acupuncture + electrical stimulation + laser therapy is helping assist the healing process for this patient after his shoulder surgery 16 weeks ago.

There can be a lot of tightness, tenderness, "off" feelings after such a surgery, but having such an array of alternative resources for healing and pain management in today's medical system helps patients get to their desired destination that much quicker.

Grateful to be a small piece in the journey!

Although your bathroom habits may not be your most favorite topic to discuss, it's definitely a key factor in your Chinese medicine practitioner's treatment plan for you.

After a life-long struggle with constipation, we upped this patient's treatment to 2x/week the last 3 weeks and the results are showing!

Sometimes "acupuncture doesn't work" just means you are not being treated enough!

As with most gentle modalities, it will take time and effort to see results. But if you keep with it, the results are worth waiting for
