These roles work on various projects/initiatives throughout the year to improve healthcare equity and accessibility for marginalized communities on campus, with special attention to q***r and trans students. We’re inviting all students to participate in the National College Health Assessment to directly shape health and wellbeing services provided at UCSB. The survey is anonymous and takes about 20-30 minutes to complete, participants will be entered to win a $30, $50, or $75 Amazon gift card! The survey will be open until June 6th.

The Fall Vaccine Clinics @ Rec Cen are a great chance for students who have WAIVE or GAP (non UC-SHIP insurance) to receive both their entrance immunization requirements as well as additional optional vaccines such as COVID-19, Flu, and HPV. These clinics will be offered the next two Fridays in October from 10AM-6PM (10/18, 10/25). UCSB is partnering with Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions Pharmacy for these clinics, which will be held at the Rec Cen courtyard.
The following vaccines will be offered:
- MMR
- VARICELLA
- TETANUS-WHOOPING COUGH
- MENINGOCOCCAL (A, C, Y & W135)
- COVID-19
- FLU
- HEP B (2 dose series)
- HPV
- MENINGOCOCCAL B
- PNEUMOCOCCAL
- SHINGLES

Entrance Immunization Clinic is September 23-27 at Student Health Service. Make an appointment on MyHealth portal to receive mandatory vaccinations you have not completed. Optional vaccinations for flu and HPV will be offered. Vaccines are free with UCSHIP. If you have a different insurance, check with your provider if you can be reimbursed. ✔️
