I am writing to let you know about a ministry we are beginning in Houlton. As you all know Addiction in a epidemic not only in American but has quite the grip on us in Aroostook County as well. With the abundance of Marijana Dispensaries and secular rehabs in The County it has grown to be accepted and even encouraged. As someone who has been dealing with Addiction for over 45 years of my life, I have seen the destruction addiction causes.

We currently have an active Addiction Recovery Meeting in Island Falls and as of November 12th will be establishing a meeting in Houlton. Bower's Funeral Home is graciously allowing us to meet there on Wednesday Evenings at 6:00 p.m.. Which I believe is quite the statement to the addicted.

What we need from the Christian Community most of all is Prayer. This is also an opportunity to refer people you know and their loved ones to the meetings. A great opportunity if you have an interest in serving is also available. One thing we have learned in the past 20 years of doing Discipleship Ministry is that it takes a community to effectively minister to those hurting. Please consider joining with us.

We will be starting a meeting in Houlton starting on Wednesday November 19th @ 6:00 p.m. we will meet at 10 Water Street - Bowers Funeral Home. If you or someone you love struggles with Substance Addictions please join us. This meeting is not just for the one in bo***ge but those who their choices also affect. We also have a meeting Sundays @ 6;00 p.m. at 58 Sherman Street in Island Falls.
