For Volunteer Appreciation Month, we just wanted to extend this note of gratitude to each and every one of our Volunteers for giving your time so generously and tirelessly to Pal-O-Mine. Volunteers are the backbone of our organization - without you, we could not do what we do. Because of your dedication and selflessness, we are able to help people every day. Thank you for playing an integral part in changing lives. We truly appreciate all of you and all that you do to help make Pal-O-Mine the very special place that it is.

Skillsets: INTENSIVE - you asked and we answered!

It's be intense in Islandia, New York come August when three jam-packed days of experiential, hands-on, thought-provoking training comes to Pal-O-Mine. You'll be shoulder to shoulder with peers that share your commitment to the Eagala Model and to the best support and service a client can receive.

Make plans now to be a part of this training -- put it on your calendar and then smile to yourself, knowing that this August you take your Eagala practice to the next level. (Oh, another thing, suggest to your practicing partner that you attend together -- double the intensity!)

Their expertise and experience are truly monumental.  Their generosity of spirit is equally remarkable.  Our Stepping Stones Farm and Wisdom Horse Team have all stepped up as well.  They have organized the promotions, the platform, the food, the restaurants, the Exhibit “Barn” and the sponsors’ page.  They are already working to get the farm in tip top shape for this exciting gathering starting on May 15th.  Our committee is busy getting out the word and helping with sponsorships.

It has been a huge team effort to bring this important teaching, learning and networking event together. We look forward to welcoming people from near and far to come and join in the festivities as we all help to grow the field of Equine Assisted Services. Do you have a family member or friend living with Alzheimer's or other dementia? Pal-O-Mine started a free program last summer called 2Gether, for individuals with Alzheimer's and their caregivers, leveraging the power of nature and horses to create relaxation and joy. This innovative program will continue this spring, thanks to a generous donation from the Laura B. Vogler Foundation of Sag Harbor. Sessions begin May 4th and run for four weeks.
