Today is the 39th Annual Missing Children’s Day. It serves as a reminder to continue our efforts to reunite missing children with their families.

A special shoutout to Rahmaan Dennis at CarStar in Deer Park for sealing our cans and to Uplift Our Towns, Inc. () for hosting the Clean Streets Project Event!

We tend to think of trash as dirty and unwanted, and the act of “throwing away” feels as callous as it is final. However, we invite us to think about and appreciate the function these items once had. For this moment, reframe “trash can” as a vessel that makes space for the new. Some of us hold onto something that represents an emotion, behavior, or memory that we no longer need. At one point, the emotion or behavior was needed to get through that moment. And that’s okay. It was once useful, and now it’s not.

By discarding them, we do not discredit these memories or these responses, but we make space for new feelings, emotions, and experiences. “Throwing away” represents a new stage in your personal evolution. Join us in appreciating our past, while celebrating our strength and forging our own future!

Our ECLI VIBES "Closure Cans" are now on display at the Roberto Clemente Park located in Brentwood, NY!
