Child at Imminent Risk: a child less than 18 years of age who, in the near future, reasonably may be expected to face out-of-home placement as a result of at least one of the following: dependency, abuse, or neglect; emotional disturbance; family conflict so extensive that reasonable control of the child is not exercised (source: Indiana Department of Child Services).

Terms like "Child at Imminent Risk of Placement" are important to know when going through a child custody case. VIBS Legal team (attorneys and advocates) can assist with this type of case if you are eligible. Call us to find out more: 631-360-3606

Every year, December 21st is National Homeless Persons Remembrance Day, a very important day to remember all of the homeless people who have passed away this last year. Domestic violence is a big reason why some people begin a life of homelessness, feeling like there is no safe place to go.
