Mental health is an important part of aging well. A recent bipartisan bill aims to improve access to mental health care for older adults—particularly in rural and underserved areas—by expanding support through Medicare.

Here is a press release from U.S. Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and Chris C***s (D-Del.) on newly introduced legislation that expand the number of mental health care providers, including clinical social workers, who can provide services to older adults through Medicare.

Swendini, also known as Swen Nater, the tallest magician in the world, brought an unforgettable magic show to residents and families. His performance was full of energy, audience interaction, and moments of pure wonder. Several guests even joined him on stage, making the experience even more special.

Before stepping into the world of magic, Swen Nater had an impressive basketball career. He was a two-time NCAA champion at UCLA and spent twelve seasons in the NBA and ABA with teams such as the Milwaukee Bucks, San Antonio Spurs, LA Clippers, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He led the NBA in rebounds and still holds an all-time rebounding record. He has been nominated for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

As Swendini, he has performed all over the world, including at the famous Hollywood Magic Castle, earning recognition as the tallest magician performing today.

Thank you, Swendini, for bringing such joy and amazement to our community. What a magical day it was!
